Studies on the fauna, ecology and taxonomy of Orthoptera of Kirikkale [in Turkish]. Cent. ent. Stud., Priamus Suppl. 3: 1-50.
Totally 4200 specimens, belonging to 90 species and subspecies in 51 genera and 8 families, collected by the author in the years of 1994-1996 from 92 localities in the province of Kirikkale (Turkey). Distribution of the species are put in order in two categories, in Turkey and in abroad. Habitat peculiarities and phenology for each species are determined in the ecology part. Conclusions are evaluated from faunistical, taxonomical and ecological standpoints. Totally 69 species and subspecies are new to the Kirikkale Province, while one species (Chorthippus dorsatus) new to Turkey. Rare and little known species in the area are discussed. Species are discussed ecologically, the ratio of the endemics are cited.
